Wyman-Gordon in the United States, Bcmllo in Russia and AD Company in France are the three enterprises with the largest nominal forging force and the largest variety and quantity of die forging hydraulic presses in the world. Judging from the number of large forging hydraulic presses in developed countries, the United States ranks first, and its varieties, specifications and quantity distribution are reasonable, which meets the demand of large forgings in the United States. The former Soviet Union has two 75,000-ton forging hydraulic presses, while Sweden has the world's largest 80,000-ton forging hydraulic press.

In China, the construction of heavy-duty die forging hydraulic press began in the late 1960s. China No.1 Heavy Machinery Factory manufactured a 30,000-ton die forging hydraulic press for Southwest Aluminum Processing Plant, which was put into operation in 1973, representing the highest level of die forging technology in China at that time and achieving a zero breakthrough in large-scale die forging hydraulic press in China.

Since then, the construction of large-scale die forging hydraulic press has been stagnant for nearly 40 years, until several giant die forging presses have been explosively developed in the past two years. Among them, in 2012, the 40,000-ton aviation die forging hydraulic press of Xi 'an Triangle Aviation Technology Co., Ltd., which was contracted by China No.22 Metallurgical Group Co., Ltd. and designed by department of mechanical engineering of Tsinghua University, was successfully tested at one time. In 2013, the world's largest 80,000-ton die forging hydraulic press developed by Deyang American Wyman-Gordon French AD Company, China 22nd Metallurgical Group, Deyang Erzhong Xi 'an Yanliang National Aviation High-tech Industrial Base was put into trial production, which made China and Sweden have the world's largest die forging press.

In addition, 80,000-ton heavy-duty die forging hydraulic press in Xi 'an Yanliang National Aviation High-tech Industrial Base and 100,000-ton die forging hydraulic press in Kunshan, Jiangsu Province are under construction, and the design of 160,000-ton die forging hydraulic press has been completed.
